The floor of the Physical Therapy Gym, and all the wood in the project is reclaimed Douglas-fir from the deconstructed Kenai Cannery.
The Gathering Place*
A new 8,000 sq.ft facility in rural Alaska designed to support delivery of Integrated Medicine to Chickaloon Village Council members in a remote community. LEED principles were used throughout, and as much energy production as possible is provided through renewable systems.
Dena'ina Wellness Center* - Lobby
A new 52,000 sq.ft LEED certified facility designed to support the Kenaitze Tribe’s move to provide Integrated Medicine to their members. "The tide is returning" is the metaphor that informed the interior design of the project.
